I'm not sure if this, the Logitech Squeezebox Duet, is something that would be worthwhile in getting or not. I like that it has a wireless remote. Anyone have any opinions on whether or not this is a good buy, or is there something better that is in the same price bracket?

I am more focused on the Squeezbox Touch so I can hook it to my audio system. Bolder Cables (boldercables.com) which does mods on the units claims the stock Touch sounds better.

You can find some info here: http://www.audiocirc....php?board=11.0

or also in the "Discless Circle." Audio CIrcle is good for audio and music related items

By the way, the Squeezebox Touch is $100 cheaper too and has a touchscreen or remote you can use and it is an alarm clock to it you want it

Thanks so much for the input and for the link, too. With that price difference, I think that I am agreeing with you so am going to check that out as soon as I can.

Let me know how you do. I might be interested in a Squeezebox Touch. I was hoping to see one at a local store but since it came out 4-5 mos. ago it is only available online. I already have 4,300 songs in WMA lossless sitting on a USB hard drive on the back-up PC in the basement and I also have an outboard DAC (Bryston). It is the waive of the future I guess. Bryston is coming out with a $2,100 media player to match the DAC. Marantz is going to make a combo media player DAC that should be out in a month or two that is $800
